Joseph Gray

Joseph Gray is considered one of the most diverse long distance runners on the globe with World Titles across Snowshoe Running, Mountain Running, Trail Running along with multiple USA National Championship Titles across disciplines including Cross Country, Track, Road racing, Mountain Running, Trail, Ultra Marathon and Skyracing.

In 2008 he made history by becoming the first Black American to make the USA Mountain Running World Team. In 2009 he took it a step further and became the first Black American to win the USA National Mountain Running Championships! He has represented Team USA 28 times in his career coming away with over 20 global medals. Joseph continues to remain one of the best American Mountain runners after recently winning his 6th USA National Mountain Running Championship and also qualifying for a chance to represent Team USA once again as he looks to lead Team USA to Andorra in hopes of defending his World Mountain Running Title from 2016.

Joseph also makes sure to give back to his community by raising money through prize money he has garnered at events. Gray donates to the Candlelighters of Southern Colorado annually.
